Did you know that walking is one of the best forms of exercise for your back, as well as for your general health? I recommend walking, even just half an hour a day, and one patient with a disc problem in his neck started to get so much benefit from walking he said “It’s like walking could be the best-kept secret – it’s the NEW exercise!”. If you don’t have a dog, then borrow one like I did last weekend and did 16,000 steps in one day – I don’t know who was more tired!
